Small business (SME's) equity gap from the previous decade:
Greater than $150 billion dollars!
In addition to the past decade of lost equity, other challenges of less importance were: regulatory issues and global competition for jobs.
SBA and Banks can't fix this equity deficit. Most pension funds have not allocated for Venture Capital. Venture Capital is forecasted to remain at these historically low levels in the immediate term.
The above issues have starved small enterprises from needed capital formation; therefore, you have one of the causes for the jobless recovery!
